Accessibility

Last updated October 10, 2026

We want everyone to be able to use okaybabe.com, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced-motion settings. Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought, and it is one of the things we build into every site we make for a client. If you run a business and wonder what the law expects of your website for accessibility, we wrote a guide for that: Does my website need to be ADA compliant?

The standard we build to

We build okaybabe.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. That is the current standard published by the W3C and the benchmark most widely used for business websites. We aim to meet it, and we keep working at it; we do not claim the site is certified or perfectly compliant, because accessibility is ongoing work, not a one-time stamp.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML and a logical heading structure, so screen readers can navigate the page.
  • Full keyboard support with a visible focus indicator, and a skip-to-content link.
  • Color contrast that meets the AA threshold, and we never use color as the only way to convey meaning.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images marked so assistive tech skips them.
  • Labeled, keyboard-accessible forms, including the audit form.
  • Support for text resize and zoom without breaking the layout.
  • Respect for the “reduce motion” setting: animations are minimized when you ask your system to reduce motion.

Known limitations

We are honest about the gaps we know of. Some third-party tools embedded on the site, such as the scheduling calendar we use for booking calls, are built by other companies, and their accessibility is partly outside our control. Where a third-party piece falls short, we look for a more accessible option or an alternative way to reach us. If you run into a barrier we have not listed, please tell us; a real report is the fastest way for us to fix it.
