Privacy policy

Last updated September 18, 2026

This policy explains how Okay Babe LLC (“okaybabe,” “we,” “us”), a Texas limited liability company in Austin, Texas, handles information on okaybabe.com. We keep it plain: we collect only what we need to answer you and run the service, and we never sell your personal information.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a free audit or otherwise contact us, we collect what you enter: your name, business name, email address, phone number, website address, and anything you type into a message field.

Analytics data. When you visit the site, our analytics tool records basic, aggregate usage information, such as the pages viewed, the approximate region, the referring link, and the type of device and browser. On the free audit tool we also record named steps (for example, starting a scan or booking a review) without storing your email in analytics. This is used to understand how the site is used, not to identify you personally.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your audit request and follow up about working together.
  • To provide, run, and improve the website and the okaybabe service.
  • To send you service and account messages, and, if you opt in, occasional updates.
  • To keep the site secure and to meet our legal obligations.

When you submit the audit form, you are asking us to get in touch, so submitting it may result in a call, email, or text from us about your request. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Analytics, and why there is no cookie banner

We use OpenPanel, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It is cookieless: it does not store tracking cookies on your device and does not build an advertising profile of you. We run no advertising pixels and no cross-site retargeting tags. Because we do not sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or track you across other sites, a cookie consent banner is not required, so we do not use one. Your usage data is processed on our own infrastructure in the United States.

Live chat

We offer live chat through Help Scout, our support and chat provider. The chat window loads only after you tap the chat button, so visitors who never use it load nothing from Help Scout. If you do use it, Help Scout stores an identifier in your browser’s local storage so your conversation stays in one thread. That identifier exists to run a feature you chose to use. It is not advertising tracking and it does not follow you across other sites. The reasoning above still holds: no ad pixels, no cross-site tracking, and no sale of personal information.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it. Because our analytics is already cookieless and we do not track you across other websites, we do not change our behavior based on a Do Not Track signal.

Who we share information with

We share your information only with the service providers we use to run okaybabe, and only so they can perform work for us. These include:

  • Our hosting and infrastructure providers, to host the site and store data securely.
  • Our email and customer-management tools, to reply to you and manage our relationship.
  • Our analytics tool, as described above.
  • Our support and chat tool, when you message us through the site.
  • Our scheduling tool, if you book a call with us.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

If you connect your Google Business Profile

Reputation is one of the services we offer. If you choose to connect your Google Business Profile, we access your Google user data through Google’s APIs only to provide that feature, such as collecting and responding to reviews and keeping your profile information current. We store that Google data only as long as we need it to run the feature, and we protect it in transit and at rest. We do not transfer or share your Google user data with anyone except as needed to provide the feature, to comply with the law, or in connection with a merger or acquisition we tell you about. We never sell it, and we never use it for advertising. We do not let people read your Google user data, except when you ask us to, when it is needed to keep the service secure or to comply with the law, or when the data has been combined and anonymized to run our operations.

okaybabe’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices

  • You can opt out of our marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any of them.
  • You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information you gave us.
  • You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

To make any of these requests, email [email protected].

How long we keep information

We keep the information you give us for as long as we need it to answer you, provide the service, and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, then we delete or de-identify it. Aggregate analytics data is not tied to your identity.

State privacy laws

okaybabe is a small business, and the broader state privacy statutes such as the California Consumer Privacy Act and the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act do not currently apply to us based on our size and data practices. Regardless, we do not sell personal information or sensitive personal information. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and honor the rights those laws provide.

Children

okaybabe.com is a business website meant for business owners. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to limit who can access it. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will post notice here. If you are an active customer, we will also let you know directly. Please check back from time to time.
