Terms of service

Last updated October 10, 2026

These terms cover your use of okaybabe.com and the okaybabe service. The site and service are operated by Okay Babe LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in Austin, Texas (“okaybabe,” “we,” “us”). By using this site or signing up for a plan, you agree to these terms. If you have a separate written service agreement with us, that agreement governs your paid plan, and these terms fill in the rest.

The service

okaybabe provides managed hosting, website services, and related online-presence services to businesses. Depending on the plan, services may include website hosting and monitoring, development of a new site, review management, and work intended to improve visibility in search and AI-assisted answers. The applicable agreement defines what is included. Plans are flat and month to month. You can cancel anytime with 30 days' written notice; we do not lock you into a long-term contract.

Your domain and your content

Your domain is registered in your name and stays that way. You own the content you give us or approve: your text, photos, logo, and business information. You grant us the permission we need to use that content to build, host, and run your site while you are a customer. When you leave, your domain and your content are yours to take with you.

Your reviews are yours

We will never ask you to sign anything that stops you from writing an honest review of okaybabe, charges you a penalty for one, or claims we own your reviews. That kind of clause is void and unlawful under the federal Consumer Review Fairness Act, and we do not use it here or in any client agreement. Tell people what you really think of our work.

Honest reviews

Reputation is one of the services we offer, and we run it honestly. We ask your customers for a review and make it easy to leave one, but we do not gate reviews: we never filter by sentiment, hide honest negative reviews, or route only satisfied customers to a review page. Review gating, fake reviews, and reviews given in exchange for a positive rating are prohibited by the Federal Trade Commission’s rule on consumer reviews (16 CFR Part 465). When you use our reputation service, you agree not to use it to solicit fake or incentivized reviews or to suppress honest ones.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site or service to break the law or infringe someone else’s rights.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful or harmful.
  • Attempt to break, overload, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it.
  • Misrepresent who you are or your authority to act for a business.

You are responsible for the content and information you give us and for how you use the site and service. To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover us for third-party claims that arise from content you provide or from your misuse of the site or service.

Our intellectual property

The okaybabe name, logo, brand, design system, and the platform and code we build the service on are ours or our licensors’. Building your site does not transfer our platform, tooling, or brand to you. You keep your content and your domain, as described above.

Payment

Paid plans are billed at the flat monthly price shown on your plan agreement. Fees are charged in advance for each month of service. If a payment fails, we may pause the service until it is resolved. The specific price, scope, and any one-time fees for your business are set on your plan agreement or quoted on your call, not on this page.

What we do and do not promise

We do real work to improve the things search engines and AI assistants actually read: a fast, well-built site, clean schema, honest content, and a current Google Business Profile. We show you that work in a plain monthly report.

We do not promise a specific search ranking, a number of leads, a volume of traffic, a count of reviews, or a spot in an AI answer. No one can honestly guarantee those outcomes, because they depend on search engines, AI systems, and your market, none of which we control. The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” and to the fullest extent the law allows we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, okaybabe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the site or service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes and termination

We may update the site, the service, or these terms. When we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page, and significant changes will be communicated to active customers. Either of us may end a month-to-month plan; your separate service agreement, if you have one, sets out the notice and offboarding details.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term right away, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. These terms, together with your signed plan agreement if you have one, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site and service.
